Question tiger's fury vs. lit reflexes

I saw lots of builds that use tigers fury instead of lit reflexes and I was wondering if theres any explanation for that =S
btw, I mean I see builds that the only beast mastery skills they got is tigers fury... I dont get y these builds just take reflexes instead and then put all of the BM points into marksmanship or expertice =S

Does recharge mean anything to you?

My guess is that most of the builds you saw were around before the TF nerf. However, even with he nerf, TF is still a viable option due to the lesser recharge time. The skill may be a BM att, but it doesn't take many points to make the skill a viable option.

At just 4 BM, tigers fury lasts 7 seconds. Therefore, since it has a 10 second recharge, you can have it up 70% of the time.

To do this costs you a mere 6 attribute points if you have a minor rune of BM (3+1), so the effect on your build is generally negligible.

thats how I see it:
- in pve LR is much better (assuming u dont get any other bm skill) and u can also take a break and let it recharge. its also pretty good for running cuz it gives 75% to avoide attacks.
- in pvp the use of TF is to attack faster while ur other skills recharge. most hunters will rather use skills then just attack fast. in this way u'll use tigers fury like every 20+ secs and since u'll have some mana problems with it so I guess it will b used like every 30+ secs (including some running u will do)
LR on the other hand is both a good finishing move, so u can shoot fast arrows and preform skills in the same time, and its also a "life saver" if a warrior is raging on ya. u probably wont b facing a warrior in a full battle every min so the log recharge isnt that bad... from boss hunting I noticed using LR and then doing the skills can do some really fast damge.

and anyways, whats the point of wasting points in bm where u can put em into much more usefull stats?

The only reason you'd wanna use LR in PVP is a R/W hammer build with some KD's, LR and 'on your knees' (not sure on the name, the shout that recharges all stances)

^I use a similary build. works well, with crushing/irresistible blow, some poison and Devastating Hammer...tried in ava, not that bad, but I recommend this for pve
